Terms of Service

Last updated: June 13, 2026

This document is a good-faith template tailored to Nestor. It is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before you rely on it.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Aletheia Labs ("we", "us") governing your use of Nestor("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.

3. The Service

Nestor is an AI chat interface that lets you converse with AI assistants, upload documents and images, and receive responses grounded in your content. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

4. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything illegal or to infringe others' rights;
  • upload content you have no right to share, or others' confidential or personal data without authorization;
  • generate or distribute harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content, including attempts to harass or harm others;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent the Service's security, rate limits, or bot protection;
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

6. AI output — accuracy and your responsibility

AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive, and may not reflect real facts. Output is not professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise). You are responsible for evaluating and verifying output before relying on it, and for any decisions you make based on it.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service (including sending it to the AI sub-processors described in the Privacy Policy). You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights needed to submit it.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Aletheia Labs and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, AI inference, embeddings, email, hosting, and analytics). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aletheia Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Aletheia Labs harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory local law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
